Our client sought to woo the St. Louis Cardinals to a destination mixed use development that incorporated restaurants, hotels, offices and a TPC PGA tournament quality golf course community at a new exit immediately east of the Mississippi River on I-05.
The site plan creates three different access/ egress routes with the road and highway infrastructure to streamline arrival/ departure logistics. The stadium design elevates a podium level above covered parking within the flood plane of the river so that all hall of fame and office/ support areas are above. A tension cable design supports lighting and a fabric roof to shade the stands from the brutal Missouri sun.
The destination integrates multiple uses so that patrons can experience a full range of recreational, retail and office occupancies.
