In his 40+ years experience as Director of Design and Principal at two of the region’s leading architectural, planning and interior design firms, Bill has developed an expertise in a wide range of commercial, educational, institutional and retail facilities.
Bill’s commitment to design excellence is reflected in the fact that his projects have been honored with over 40 major design awards at national, regional and local levels and he has authored numerous articles on strategic facility planning, renovation design, law office design trends, retail design trends and designing to improve workplace productivity. Mr. Eberhard received the first Business Week/ Architectural Record/ IBD/IIDA national design award for the design of a workplace that measurably improved productivity and the client’s bottom line (Capitol Financial Group; Cleveland, OH; 88,000 sf).
Both a registered architect and certified interior designer, his reputation for crafting space and a seamless integration of products and materials has resulted in his selection as a member of national design advisory councils for Steelcase, Herman Miller, Haworth, AllSteel, Prince Street Carpet, Shaw Carpet, DesignWeave Carpet and Deca Limited. Mr. Eberhard was selected for Crain’s "40 Under 40", serves on the American Institute of Architects Ohio Interior Design Licensing Task Force, is a founding member and President of the Design Forum of Cleveland, has served on the Board of Trustees at Vocational Guidance Services for over 20 years and he participated in the 2006 class of Leadership Cleveland.
