The Greater Cleveland Partnership, the region’s chamber of commerce and economic development catalyst, elected to co-locate with the regions convention/ visitors bureau in order to share large meeting and support functions and reduce occupancy costs. A comprehensive programming and location analysis resulted in the selection of the Higbee Building, which entailed significant design and historic tax credit challenges.

PC was located in the first floor with the main Public Square entry and GCP occupied the second floor, with new elevator, rest rooms and HVAC systems integrated. Due to the large floor plates and limited windows, a demountable glass storefront system was employed for all offices which transformed the organization’s interaction, communication and culture. Tall 10’ and 13’ ceilings with indirect lighting create a state of the art workplace with small space standards and significant collaboration and breakout areas to further enhance communication and interaction. A small atrium connects first and second floors visually and psychologically.

Space standards were streamlined and sliding glass doors use to save space. The difficult turnkey project was completed on time and on budget and additional tax credits were secured.
"I had the opportunity to work with Bill Eberhard and his firm through some of the most difficult phases of design and early construction.  Their project management methodology and attention to detail was second to none.  Our project was unique in the many constituents that we needed to serve and engage.  They were with us every step of the way, documenting project requirements, holding team members to task to ensure the project was completed on time, within budget, and to our requirements.  Those are the hallmark ingredients to successful project management services."
