Principal Bill Eberhard worked with a commercial real estate broker to provide D-K with a comprehensive evaluation of the real estate alternatives to house this 120-year old prominent regional law firm. The detailed analysis enabled the partnership to easily compare options and make informed decisions.

D-K wanted an image of quality that distinguishes the firm. They wanted the workplace to support high levels of concentration yet facilitate collaboration and spontaneous interaction knowing that would encourage all practice groups and employees to feel like a part of the whole. The quality of lighting was of great interest with access to daylight for those assigned to interior space.

The office layout was dictated by an understanding of the law firm process. High quality materials of stone, natural wood, glass and stainless steel are introduced in limited quantities and give real impact to the overall look and feel of the space. Carefully crafted lighting responses and generous use of glass enable interior office dwellers to share both views and natural day lighting.
