A high profile advertising agency retained Principal Bill Eberhard to define space needs, evaluate alternative locations, and design and implement a creative environment that would support work processes and the recruitment and retention of quality clients and personnel.
The selected location, a series of dilapidated 1854 buildings in Cleveland’s Historic Warehouse Distric, were gutted, structurally stabilized and renovated to provide a kinetic space that fostered creativity and collaboration at the highest levels.
The exterior envelope was renovated to comply with U.S. Department of the Interior guidelines to facilitate the capture of investment tax credits to attain economic objectives. The interior was designed with a skylight-capped atrium and central stair, around which reception, interaction, meeting and presentation areas were clustered so that the activity of the agency was displayed to employees and visitors alike.
